1. Provider and scope

The provider of the Boxdup app and associated services is:

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the Boxdup iOS app and to the purchase of paid services (Boxdup PRO) via the Apple App Store.

2. Description of services

Boxdup is an iOS app for the private archiving of personally meaningful digital content (photos, videos, texts, links, documents, and other media). The app allows content to be imported from other apps via the iOS Share Extension and stored locally on the device.

The free version of Boxdup allows up to 50 memories to be saved. Beyond this, Boxdup PRO can be purchased as a monthly subscription.

Boxdup PRO includes:

• Unlimited saving of memories
• Access to future PRO features as they become available

3. Contract and subscription

The purchase of Boxdup PRO takes place exclusively via the Apple App Store. By completing the purchase in the App Store, a contract is formed between the user and the provider.

Boxdup PRO is available as an automatically renewing monthly subscription. The current price is €4.99 per month. An introductory offer of €2.99 per month for the first 3 months applies to new subscribers.

The subscription automatically renews for a further month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period via Apple ID settings. Billing is handled by Apple.

The subscription can be managed and cancelled exclusively via: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions

4. Prices and payment

All prices are final prices inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is made via the payment method linked to the Apple ID. Boxdup has no access to payment data.

The provider reserves the right to change the prices for Boxdup PRO. Price changes will be communicated to the user in advance and will only take effect from the next billing period following the user's consent.

5. Right of withdrawal

Apple's withdrawal rules apply to the purchase of digital content via the App Store. By beginning to use Boxdup PRO, the user agrees that the right of withdrawal for immediately available digital content expires once the provider has begun performance.

6. Data storage and privacy

All content saved in Boxdup remains stored exclusively on the user's device. The provider has no access to stored memories. For further information on data protection, please refer to the App Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and warranty

The provider strives to maintain a stable and error-free app. No claim to uninterrupted availability exists. The provider is not liable for data loss caused by device loss, damage, or deletion of the app.

Users are expressly advised to make regular backups of their data — either via the built-in data export or via the iPhone backup.

8. User obligations and responsibility

The user is solely responsible for all content saved in Boxdup. The provider has no access to stored content and exercises no editorial control.

The user confirms that they hold the necessary rights to the content they save, or are otherwise authorised to use it. The following content is expressly prohibited:

• Content that violates applicable law
• Content that infringes copyright or other third-party rights
• Content that violates the personal rights of others
• Content that is relevant under criminal law

As all content is stored exclusively on the user's device and is not technically accessible to the provider, the provider accepts no liability for content stored by the user. Sole liability rests with the user.

9. Licence

The provider grants the user a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the app on one or more of their own Apple devices. Redistribution, modification, or decompilation of the app is not permitted.

10. Changes to these Terms

The provider reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to the user via the app or by e-mail. Continued use of the app after the amended Terms come into effect constitutes acceptance.

The current version of the Terms & Conditions is always available at boxdup.app/en/terms.

11. Applicable law and dispute resolution

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu. The provider is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
